This vidwo is in response to Ebay's refusal to remove defaming feedback from a buyer who purchased 19 auctions and never paid for a thing. After charging us $19.95 per dispute to have the feedback removed, Square Trade refuses to arbitrate because they have left eBay services on May 12th but yet they never refunded mine or others money.
Feedbak restructured on eBay has shut down many sellers who don't feel safe or protected anymore. After 10 years of doing business solely with Ebay this public service announcement is meant to prevent others from falling into the same trap.
Find alternative sites that have a pleasant atmosphere and hasn't scared their users away. Fees have increased up to 65% for some users already and in August they are announcing that shipping and taxes will be included in your final value fee. As well as requiring sellers to purchase additional shipping materials from them, they are getting fees on Paypal payments, auction fees and now they want us to pay shipping and taxes on the buyers items. The total amount of fees, in all run up to 20% of the selling price of the item you sold. This is outrageous and sellers must move to a better venue.
Wagglepop.com/stores/restore is where we have started but we will not put all our eggs in one basket again and will be reviewing all our new sites on this blog to assist others in finding a save a secure site to do business.
Wagglepop has proven to be very helpful and offers tools for site building that Ebay would charge us for. One monthly fee and the boards are great and fun. Come and visit us there for now. Updates on postings at other sites will be given as we try other sites. Next one is OLA.com. They have one monthly fee of $8.00 and you can sell all you want. Also a neighbor of mine here in Grants Pass so I can review the store and employees.
BOYCOTT EBAY July 1, 2008, August 1, 2008, September 1 etc. That is if there are any users left. The changes announced for August have me floored and proves that Ebay doesn't want our business. Why couldn't they just say that instead of hurting so many?
